“Tokyo is usually fast-paced and filled with a sense of tension, but during cherry blossom season, the atmosphere across the city softens,” Rintaro says. “As we transition from the dull, colorless days of winter to the fresh greenery of spring, cherry blossoms serve as a symbolic turning point. It’s as if people have been waiting for this moment; they naturally head out to see the blossoms. No matter how urban the city is, cherry blossoms can be found all around, drawing people to them almost instinctively.”
